Many of you have been asking, "Are you doing the run this year?"
While there won't be an official Desert Beach Cruise this year, this weekend is still all about CARS!! Our big news is that JF Kustoms is having their Grand Opening on Friday, June 20, 2008. Everyone is welcome! On Saturday, June 21, 2008, our local Lordco is going to be putting on a downtown Show & Shine (they liked what we did last year and would love to see all those cars back in the downtown core.) There will also be some festivities Saturday after the Show & Shine, cuz we love to entertain! And don't forget that there will be Drag Racing on Sunday for showing off.
We'll try to keep everyone posted of the details as they get nailed down.

The Cactus Jalopies Car Club (The club that eats, sleeps and breathes cars) are once again putting on a party for people who feel the same way. Those of you that know us know we like to have fun with our cars rather than park them for the weekend.
Have a look around and see what we are about. This year is going to be bigger and better than last year with some things different and some things the same.
We are planning on starting a little earlier this year on Thursday with some unofficial events. There is a good chance there may be an impromptu garage tour and probably a bash in the evening.
On Friday we will be having bowling again in the morning and the poker run wine tour in the afternoon. Then it’s the legendary rock and roll pub night with all of the mayhem you enjoyed last year. Like last year we will be having the shuttle bus and will be improving on the frequency and the stop areas.
You can start off Saturday with a pancake breakfast before you head off to the show which will be in a new venue this year. Then it’s off to cruise along the lake and head off for a tour and a BBQ.
On Sunday, fire up your heap and take it to the drags for some heads up racing.
